A Winter Collection of Haiku
Frostbite
I walk shoulders tense
Crunch of snow beneath my boots
Cold air stings my cheeks.

In from the cold
Warm by fireplace
The red wine flows so sweetly
Outside snow falls calm.

Great job on both of these Haiku’s Laura. They work together – good idea to post them together as one complements the other.
I like how you made twin haikus. The work well together.
Beautiful description, reminded me of winter again!
I agree, these really compliment each other. Such vivid images; as a reader, I feel like I am watching this happen. Great word choices!
Lovely description — and on this spring day a reminder, too. Thanks, Laura.
